the town i’m currently in is bor-ing (but not Boring, har har. oregon joke, deal with it.) however, the weather is nice and i have nothing better to do than some solo exploring out here in this corner of the wild west.

this photo is from the Lava Beds National Monument, in northeast california. worth a drive to the middle of nowhere to see? perhaps not, but if you find yourself nearby it’s worth an afternoon of spelunking, chill hiking, and taking in the barren beauty of this quiet landscape.
