i miss music. i took for granted being able to plug into my headphones, but nowadays the only music i’ve been hearing is the little lullaby jingle that plays over the hospital PA system when a baby is born. (i’m also far, far behind on my podcasts. i don’t want to talk about it. ira glass, if you’re somehow reading this, i haven’t forgotten you…)

i’ve caught this particular jingle by the lumineers on 94.7 during the commute several times this week, and it’s completely stuck in my head. what can i say, i’m a bit of a sucker for front-porch folksy tunes.
